So I thought I might start a blog. Not sure why. I read a few recently and tried to think of the reasons why I never blogged. Here’s what I came up with:
1. I’m not funny enough to write a blog. Blogs have to be funny right?
2. I don’t have enough to write about.
3. I don’t have time to write anything.
4. Nobody will read it.
Now just because I’m starting one doesn’t mean I’ve had a change of heart on any of the items above. I can sometimes be funny but not usually with the written word. I probably don’t have enough to write about unless people want to read endlessly about the trials and tribulations of being a Redskins fan. I certainly don’t have the time with a job, a wife, a 10 month old daughter, an aging yellow lab, and two large and somewhat annoying cats. Time is normally not something that I have – at least not to myself. Last but not least, the concern of nobody reading it. Hmmm…I am not sure on that one. Maybe I’m starting this for myself and not worrying about others reading it. I’m sure in time someone will come around. At least Anie will read it.
When I really think about it though…who cares? Why not? So I will give it a try and see if I have the time and energy to write. I sure have things on my mind so we’ll see.
